I am Marta, an italian professional photographer. I am specialized in reportage, portrait, wedding photography.

I m graduated  in Philosophy at the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari (degree thesis on Friedrich Nietzsche).

I worked for the Municipality of Venice experiencing international co-operation projects and cultural exchange programs for the diffusion of a Peace culture.

I attended the European Master’s degree in Professional Photography from the ISFAV (Istituto Superiore Fotografia e Arti Visive) Institute in Padova.

2006: work for Jaeger-LeCoultre at the Venice Film Festival.

From 2007 to 2008: photojournalist for a newspaper “Il Gazzettino”.

From 2008 to 2009: i worked with Graziano Arici for Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana’s restoration – Contemporary Art Museum of the Francois Pinault Foudation.

I worked for Grazia Neri, the first and most prestigous events and portraits  italian Photojournalistic Agency, also linked to art and literature.

Biennale Arte 2009: reportage for Illy Caffè, Thyssen Bornemisza Art Contemporary and for the Office for Contemporary Art Norway (OCA).

Award: Panton Chair 2009 – “Panton living”

I currently collaborate with the newspaper “La Nuova Venezia” in Venice.

From 2009 to 2019 I worked with the magazine of Manifatture Sigaro Toscano.

2011: “Life in Kolkata” (India) photo reportage, collaborating with Balò NGO.

2012: “Calcutta, sguardi dalla città della Gioia”, Photo exhibition in Venice in the Istituto Provinciale per l’infanzia “Santa Maria della Pietà”.

2016: Photo reportage for Emergency, NGO founded bu Gino Strada, to help civilian victims of war and poverty, in the medical clinical in Marghera, Venice.

2018: “Dream but don’t sleep“: the exhibition comes from the collaboration between provate and public actors working in the Venice area for the inclusion of unaccompanied immigrant minors and young adults.

From 2006: I also work as destination wedding photographer (I’m associated with WPJA wedding photojournalist association) and family/couple/portraits photographer (Flytographer Agency for vacation photography).

2020 – 2021  collaboration with Polaris Agency of New York.
